My husband John passed away on April 18th after battling cancer for almost 3 years. He was surrounded by friends and family and went very peacefully and without any pain. Thanks to everyone for all the love and support!

Jody, i admit that i have not kept up with blogs in over two years so i had no idea that your beloved John was still fighting for his life. I came across the gorgeous smiling photos of him on Flickr while looking for a friend's vacation photos from this weekend. I was shocked to read the comment under John's photo that he had passed away. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. There are just no other words to express my sadness at your news.
I know that you are surrounded by loads of good friends and family who will hug you when you need comfort and listen when you need to talk. I am sending you my thoughts and prayers for peace. I know form John's blog when he first became ill, just how much pain he was in and i am relieved to know that he is no longer suffering such cruel pain to his physical being.
