I tried - I really did. I tried to keep away from the lace for a while... but it called me back!
I started knitting the Adamas Shawl last Sunday and I finished it last night. 5 days people! I think I have some kind of problem.
Hi my name is Jody and I'm a lace addict.
I blocked it last night...
and I'm wearing it now. No one at work appreciates the knitting - but I don't care.
I knit this one with single ball of Colinette Jitterbug. I just love these quick single skein knits. Here's what I had left....
Yeah - I do like to cut it close!!
Hopefully I'll get some proper shots of it tomorrow. Coleen and I are going to the Mannings! Our yearly journey to the land of yarn has come again. Maybe I'll see you there!

You did that with one skein? The full size?
You really are an addict... but I can see why! It's gorgeous!
Beautiful Jody! You rock.
Love it! What was the yardage on that skein?
Oh.My.God. 5 days?!?!?
I think I just fainted.
And that is a *fantastic* color!
It's gorgeous -- I don't blame you for finishing in 5 days, the shawl wanted to be worn Right Away!
Have fun at the Mannings! I may or may not be helping a friend move, so give everything a fondle for me :)
Love the color. How many repeats of the middle section did you end up doing?
Really beautiful. You are one fast knitter!
So pretty! Great way to use that sock yarn too, glad you had enough! :)
You are a knitting goddess - 5 days!?
It looks incredible.
Oooh Jitterbug? I never would have thought of that. Nice. Adamas was the first lace pattern I attempted. Then dubbed "Adumbass shawl". I have decided this summer I shall revisit it and conquer it. Perhaps a bit of sock yarn is the way to go. Yours looks gorgeous!
Gorgeous! I love the colorway!
i hope you and C had a great time at The Mannings!
the lace is totally beautiful~
Wow.. Im speechless....
the color is amazing - and out of one skein! wow!!!
can't wait to see modeled pics, AND the report from the Mannings!!
It's a beautiful addiction. Can't believe no one at work appreciates your knitting. I think some people just look at knitting as an old lady thing instead of a creative art. Their loss .... because we won't be making them anything. lol.
Your outing at the mannings looks wonderful. What a great day.
