I finally finished my Charlotte's Web shawl! She is blocking now. I knit it using a 24" circular, so it was pretty scrunched up the whole time and I really had no idea just how BIG it was.

I had to fold it in half to block it on a queen sized bed!

I just loved knitting this. The Koigu was a joy to work with... so colorful and sproingy! (Is that a word>) If it isn't - it should be!

I can't wait to see how this baby looks after it's dry. Coleen and I are planning a proper photo session tomorrow. My Charlotte's web and her Faux Russian Stole - stay tuned!

It's gorgeous! At first I couldn't figure out how you got it to color that way! I just finished a Koigu Swallowtail, it is sproingy! Now I am using lace weight and it is so, so, so thin!

Beautiful! (And yes, sproingy is absolutely a valid word, at least with knitters!)

Love it! Koigu definitely s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s- on the block. My Maude shawl (another Koigu must do) was HUGE. If it is too big, five minutes in the dryer pulls it in without sacrificing stitch definition, just FYI. (Had to do it for poor Maude when her wings hit the floor.)

Sorry I missed you at MDSW; hope to see you at spinning soon.

WOW!
when I first started reading blogs about 5.5 years ago, this shawl was "all the rage". Everyone was making it and I was this new knitter who barely knew stockinette. It wowed me then, and I have to say, it still does! gorgeous work on this, J!
